Following on from our successful 2025 Wynd Artist of the Year Competition ,

The Wynd Gallery are pleased to announce Art in the Wynd 2026, incorporating our popular live art competition with a full-scale art market that promises a day of creativity and enjoyment.

Join us from 11am to 3pm to explore a variety of art stalls and indulge in delicious offerings from local eateries.

We're excited to bring back our popular live artist competition for its third year! Eight talented local artists will compete for the title of Wynd Artist of the Year, creating a stunning piece of art in just four hours. A panel of judges will award prizes, while the coveted People’s Choice Award will be determined by public vote. Judging will begin at 3pm

Applications are now open to register interest in the competition, further details will be sent to applicants

nearer the event.

Artists interested in showcasing their work at the art market can secure a 3m x 3m pitch for only £35 for the day.

Please remember to bring your own gazebo, chair, and table, and ensure you have public liability insurance.

We are also providing complimentary parking for one car for our particpants.

We kindly ask that you help us maintain a clean environment by taking your rubbish with you.
