BECOME A MEMBER

The Wynd Gallery operates as a cooperative, with all artist members sharing in the running and management of the space.
Members can submit a selection of their work for display in the gallery in our monthly exhibitions.
They can also add a selection of prints for the browsers and card racks.
All members pay an annual fee of £180 and additionally the gallery takes 25% of all sales.
This all goes to pay for the rent, electricity and water to keep the gallery open.
Any member can also hire the gallery for one week (by arrangement) for a solo exhibition for an extra £100 per show. All members have to give a statutory one day per month to host the gallery
from 10 - 4pm, representing and selling all members’ work. This duty is a condition of your membership.
As a member, you can select your duty day each month. With almost thirty people choosing, it’s a good idea to book your slot in good time.
Members are also encouraged to take on various voluntary responsibilities to ensure the gallery runs smoothly, these can be such as helping at the monthly hangs, taking on the roles of treasurer, chair, secretary or helping with marketing and advertising.
We’re a vibrant and supportive group, and to help us welcome new people in a fair and consistent way, we’ve developed a simple formal application process.
