AUDREY IMBER
PAINTINGS
“The landscape is always the starting point for my work and with drawing, photography, painting I aim to capture the ‘essence ‘ of a location, to show how a place feels as well as looks”
Audrey has painted all her life, but it was not until retirement that she was able to take it up full time. After a foundation Arts diploma at the Hitchin College for the Arts she went on to take a 3 year Fine Art degree, graduating in 2015.
Since graduating Audrey has become a member of the Eagle Gallery in Bedford, she is a member of the Bedfordshire Artist Network and Hertfordshire Visual Arts, was shortlisted for the 2015 Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, had two paintings accepted in The Royal Institute annual exhibition at the Mall galleries in London. Most recently she was a prize winner in the Artists & Illustrators “Artist of The Year” competition and again had her work exhibited at The Mall Galleries.
