An artist for over 20 years, working specifically in glass for more than 10, Opal Seabrook merges traditional stained glass methods and modern fusion and screen printing methods, incorporating materials such as wood and metal to create unique stained glass art panels, windows and mirrors, and kiln-fused jewellery, and wall and table art.
In 2005 Opal undertook a 10 week evening class in stained glass techniques and since then has developed her skills through testing her ideas against traditionalist views, and through additional short workshops.
Opal’s ever evolving style brings a range of beautiful and unique pieces with inspiration from various sources and styles including pop art, art nouveau, nature, and photography.
