Kate makes sculptural, ceramic forms with complex surfaces created by the reaction of oxides and glazes in the kiln.
The work is reminiscent of time-worn objects, eroded by the elements.  Their truths, once hidden, now revealed through the transformational nature of time, exploring the concepts of repressed emotions, concealed truth, fragility & strength.
